Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 21 October 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and mint ("we", "us") for the mint mobile app and the website at 1mint.org (together "the Service"). Please read them carefully. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
mint helps businesses manage inventory, sell with invoices, track expenses, bill customers for packages and subscriptions, and publish a public business page. Features may change over time, and some features may only be available to some plans or roles.
2. Your account
- You sign in with your mobile phone number and a one-time code. You must give accurate information and keep your phone and codes secure.
- You are responsible for everything done through your account. Tell us promptly if you think someone else has accessed it.
- You must be 18 or older, or have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement for yourself or the business you represent.
3. Businesses, staff and roles
The person who creates a business is its Owner. Owners can add Sub-Owners, Managers, Team Members and Salespeople, and what each of them can see and do depends on their role. The Owner is responsible for who is given access and for what those people do in the business.
4. Your data
You keep ownership of the information you put into mint (your "content"). You give us permission to store, process and display it only as needed to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You promise that you have the right to upload your content and to store your customers' information, and that you have told your customers where the law requires it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- break the law, or use the Service for fraud, illegal goods or services, or to harm others;
- upload content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or that you have no right to share;
- attempt to break into, disrupt or overload the Service, scrape it, or reverse engineer it;
- send spam or use customers' contact details for purposes they did not agree to; or
- share your account or let anyone use it who is not permitted by the business.
6. Invoices, taxes and calculations
mint calculates totals, taxes, fees and charges using the settings you or your business configure. You are responsible for choosing correct rates and settings and for meeting your own tax, accounting and invoicing obligations. mint is a tool and does not give tax, accounting or legal advice. Please check important figures before relying on them.
7. Public pages and invoice links
When a business is live, its public page shows what the business has chosen to publish. Each invoice also has a web link. Anyone who has an invoice link can view that invoice, including the customer's name and phone number. You are responsible for sharing invoice links only with the people they are meant for.
8. Plans and pricing
New businesses start with a free trial. After the trial, creating or changing data in a branch needs an active mint Plan for that branch; without one the branch becomes read-only, so you can still view and export your records. A plan covers a number of branches, and you choose which branches use it.
Subscriptions bought in the app. Paid plans are monthly or yearly subscriptions billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) to your store account, in the price and currency shown to you before you buy. They renew automatically at the end of each period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before it ends. Manage or cancel in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings; deleting the app or your mint account does not cancel a subscription. Payment, tax and refund requests for store purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their own rules. When a plan ends or is cancelled you keep access until the end of the period you paid for.
We may also grant plans directly (for example promotional codes). We will tell you in advance if prices change, and a store subscription price change only applies after you have had the chance to accept it in the store. Except where the law requires otherwise, fees are non-refundable.
9. Availability and offline use
The app is designed to keep working without an internet connection and to sync when you are back online. We work to keep the Service available but do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own copies of records you cannot afford to lose.
10. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party services such as Google (Firebase), WhatsApp and app stores. Their availability and their own terms are outside our control, and we are not responsible for them.
11. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, name and logo, belongs to us and our licensors. We give you a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the app for your business while you comply with these terms. You may not copy, sell or create derivative works from it.
12. Ending your use
You can stop using mint and ask us to delete your account at any time (see Account deletion). We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, put the Service or others at risk, or where the law requires it. Sections that by their nature should continue (such as ownership, disclaimers and liability) continue after your access ends.
13. Disclaimer
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we do not give any warranties, express or implied, including about fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of calculations, or uninterrupted operation.
14. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses (such as lost profit, lost data or business interruption) arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, or, if you paid nothing, to a nominal amount. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of Pakistan, unless the law of your country gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
16. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If a change is significant we will tell you in the app or by email. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
